| I'm a tad annoyed with the phpBB software we are using to host the forums. It's a bear to admin, and spam has gotten pretty bad. I can try a bunch of mods to fix it, but I'm not sure if I want to go there because version 3 is hovering on horizon (currently in Beta 5 and about to start issuing release candidates). I've considered switching to some other software (even if it has a little cost associated with it) just for something 'better', but perhaps I'm just being crazy. |

Praying isnt so bad... 
Unless/until there is some kind of concentrated demand on the site to justify spending real $$$ on it, I still like free options the best.

i'd say keep it, wait for the new version. Its coming out soon, and it looks sexy. I voted for neither though....because that was the only option clearly identifying butcher as a little girl.  |

I had to go with Neither only because it was Butcher!
I say we wait. I will continue to help wack the fake user accounts that are getting signed up. On that note do you have the ability to put up a packet capture on the site? I would like to look at the trace of one of these spam accounts being created. I have the tools to decode the raw file. |
